Monkey Maddness is committed to providing a forum for education, reference and support. The focus at Monkey Maddness is providing proper care and responsibility for all captive primates. Monkey Maddness' purpose is not to promote primate ownership; it is to provide a forum for people with an interest in Non-human primates (monkeys and apes) to share information, advice and support in a non-judgmental enviroment.

Living with a non-human primate is an enormous responsibility. It is a lifetime commitment that mandates a proper environment that is healthy, stimulating, happy, and enriching. Monkey Maddness goal is to contribute positively to captive primates' lives. Please read the articles "So you thought you wanted a monkey " published by the Simian Society of America and "Pet Monkeys a Reality Check" published by the Monkey Matters Magazine and the International Primate Association.
