Turf Turf Foraging Board - each

Foraging for food is the predominant activity of primates in their natural habitat. Our durable Turf Turf foraging board provides a convenient method of having primates actively involved in gathering their own food. Used with our nutritional foraging diets (Grainola foraging mix, fruit and nut mix, foraging bites, and foraging crumbles) this artificial turf board stimulates their natural foraging behavior that helps reduce boredom and promotes psychological well-being.

Features and advantages:
- All stainless steel construction. 6" long x 6" wide
- Shelf-type design mounts on OUTSIDE front pnael of cage secured by 2 adjustable stainless stell support chains and twist clips
- Strong stainless stell spring/chain assembly attached to the underside prevents primates from flipping the board up and spilling the food. If your boards do not have this important feature, it is not a Bio-Serv Turf Board!
- Covered with extra-durable artificial turf which is securely anchored by 1 1/4" stainless stell bars and stainless stell lock nuts
- For best performance and to keep primates interested, use our foraging diets which come in a variety of textures, flavors and particle sizes.

- Replacement turf pads available

Fleece Foraging and Grooming Board

Providing foraging opportunities is one of the most effective ways to enrich your captive primates' environment over time. This proven method of rubbing our Foraging Crumbles into synthetic fleece elicits two natural behaviors : foraging and grooming, which are valuable parts of a primates' social behavior.

Features and advantages :
- Board mounts vertically to the OUTSIDE of cage.
- Primates spend hours reaching trough their cage bars to faorage for the nutritional flavored Crumbles (see treats) embedded into the fleece. This activity also helps satisfy their need for social grooming.
- Autoclavable, 304 stainless steel construction, 11" wide x 10" high.
- Artificial fleece (90% polyester, 10% acrylic) is sandwiched between 2 panels.
- The synthetic fleece is easily sanitized by dipping it in a bleach solution and laundering
- Live meal worms can also be used with fleece for a natural foraging experience.

Don't forget to take a look at our foraging diets!

Finger Board

A convenient, easy to apply puzzle board that keeps your monkeys busy for hours! This Finger Board can remain permanently attached to the TOP EXTERIOR of any cage and does not have to be removed for cage-washings or autoclaving which saves you time and labor. It only takes seconds to load. Simply toss delicious PRIMA-Treats or Nutty Monkey Treats (see Treats) into the large opening on the top cover. Primates use their fingers to manipulate the treats across numerous holes to pull the treats down through the 5 larger countersunk holes.

Features and Advantages:
- Does not obstruct the front of the cage as with other devices
- The clear polycarbonate top cover prevents primates from "cheating" by reaching up over the edge to get the treats instead of working them down through the holes

- Ideal time-consuming device for all primates, including chimps
- Designed for use with 5 gm PRIMA-Treats and Nutty Monkey Treats
- Sturdy, autoclavable clear polycarbonate
- 10" x 12" x 1" (includes 1/2" side rim)
