Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

IVAN
ivan2c.jpg

"Ivan lived with us just a little over a year.  In that time he and I became very attached to each other.  There was a very special bond between me and Ivan, he spoke to me in ways that no other cat ever has.  He taught me about trust and how to earn that from him.  He taught me so many things about myself and I am forever grateful to this wonderful boy for what he added to
my life.  He will live forever in my heart. "

Vickie

Yosif was a wonderful boy whose life was cut too short from FIP.  He was 3 1/2 years old when he passed away.  FIP is a disease that is hard to predict and is not curable.  I wish he was still here with us.

To Sweet Vera:

Sorrow fills my burdened heart,
then I think of all the times you made me smile
and you make me smile once again.
The love we shared will always last.

This is Ophelia - one of the first three Siberians imported into the United States in 1991.  In her breeding days she founded what the Siberian breed is and her name appears in many pedigrees.  In her retirement she became a dear friend and bed sleeper , which is what retirement is all about.  Ophelia is sadly missed by Vicki and remebered by many as a dear sweet girl.

Bella fought cancer for almost 6 months but her tiny frail body just could not fight anymore.  She was over 10 years old when she died and she had lived with me since she was 12 weeks of age.  She told me when it was time to go - I imagine her playing happy and healthy with all her kitty pals at the Rainbow Bridge.

Prissy

Relaxing in her home

Miss Priss was the oldest of our rescue kitties from the puppy mill auction in September 2002.  She was adopted by a very loving family with children who adored her.  Her final years were full of good food, warmth, many beds to sleep on and most of all LOVE !!!   She went to the Rainbow Bridge in September 2005.

Squeaker(aka Costello) - sadly missed by his four legged friend Abbott and his human parents.

Vanya Kaliostrovich   5/5/924/8/06

My dear sweet Vanya, from the day you arrived at 12 weeks, shipped all the way from Baton Rouge, you came out of the crate purring and it seemed you never stopped. We called you The Good Humor Pussycat and the Dude. You never pretended to be anything but yourself and you were special and oh so loved. Now you are sorely missed. Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge.
