Hagar the Horrible Check out some great pictures of Hagar Above: Hagar sits on a 70s sofa (so what if it was the 80s!); Hagar the pretty boy. So, you ask, who is this "Hagar"? Hagar was born in 1980. He lived with Sphinxie's mother's family until his death in 1986. He was a very handsome cat. He had a strange habit of running down the stairs at full speed and THUD! right into the wall at the bottom of the steps. He did this virtually every time he went down the stairs. I don't know if this hastened his untimely demise... Above: Hagar is very proud of Sphinxie's uncle on the occasion of his high school graduation in 1983. (Sphinxie's uncle was Hagar's #1 fan.) Sphinxie's grandmother is proud too. And check that bushy head of hair! Above: Little kitten Hagar (lower right corner) sits on Sphinxie's grandfather. Alas, no bushy head of hair. Above: Little kitten Hagar sleeps on the sleeping 12-year-old mother-to-be of Sphinxie. Compare to Chubby Ann-Margret sleeping on 30-something mother of Sphinxie... Seems to be a pattern! Hobbies: Hagar's hobbies included running into the wall at the bottom of the stairs; avoiding children who wanted to hold him more than he wanted to be held; and sitting behind Sphinxie's grandmother on the sofa, passionately biting her bushy head of hair.
